This is a small country. Why does it take continental times to cover island distances? I spent 6 hours in my little motor car last Friday driving from one side of this green and fair land to the other, at an average speed of 50 km/h.
We don't need speed limits in this country, we're self- regulating. We all drive to the same place, or rather from the same place, at the same time so that no-one can get anywhere quickly, legally. Though as soon as some people see any bit of clear tarmac they drive like they were never going to see it again.
Frequently they don't.
If only people were self-regulating when the roads are clear we might not have so many deaths on our roads.
