Scariest Training Moment.

One of the scariest moments in my flight training to-date occurred yesterday.  It happened on the ground after 40 minutes of circuit-bashing.  Back in the briefing room my instructor turned to me and said:

"You should really be considering applying for the flight test"

If I didn't go pale, I certainly felt like all of the blood had departed from my face.  I'm not really phased by tests per se.  It didn't really bother me that I had to do my written exams for the second time last year.  If you're ready, you're ready and I nearly always no the outcome of a test before I start.

The flight test, though, is completely different.  While I done more important exams in my time this is the one which is most important to me. The one I most want to pass.  The one everyone expects me to pass. It scares me.
