Grounded.
Since late last week - around the time of the flight test actually - I've been having sinus problems. Last weekend was one long energy slump and the last couple of days haven't be great either. I dragged myself to the doctor yesterday to see what was wrong. It turns out there's a bad dose of sinusitis doing the rounds and I have it. The doc, who incidentally is also my Aviation Medical Examiner (AME) prescribed me a ten day course of anti-biotics, a nasal spray and told me to ground myself for the week.
I could do without this. I really wanted to have the flight retest done by the end of next week. Before we know it the evenings will be closing in and the weather deteriorating - if that's possible looking back at the summer we had.

Not that you shouldn't be grounded, but I've always read that your AME and your actual doctor should be two different people, because you have a doctor-patient privilege with your doctor, but the AME is actually a representative of the government when he's doing your medical exam. I personally like to keep the dividing line between the two crystal clear.
Hope you feel better soon.
